The prompt for day 2 (2 October 2017) is “Divided”
Every October, artists all over the world take on the Inktober drawing challenge by doing one ink drawing a day the entire month.
This is Inktober. There are some really amazing artists who participate and over the past few years I’ve lamented that I didn’t participate, so this year I am, albeit, not with ink. Perhaps I’m cheating but I like to think I’m following the spirit of the challenge. I’m using one of my favorite tools/apps, Isometric, (sadly only for iPhone) but there is a desktop app that has similar capabilities called Hexels, that I might try to use later in the month. Jake Parker, who is the creator of Inktober, has put together a list of prompts for this year which I will be following.
Here’s my first post for the prompt “Swift”

I don’t write code as my full time job, but I tinker a bit and read some too. I switched over to using Input about a year ago. Best part, it’s free for personal use. Give it a try.

My Industrial Design education afforded me the opportunity to use (and own) a great number of beautiful and esoteric tools. While i never had this tool (it’s not intended for industrial designers), I find it to be beautiful. I wonder if my grandfather, who was a draftsman, might have used this or something similar.
